Good Morning World

Good Morning world.
A brand new day.
Dust off the dirt from yesterday.
Refreshed renewed, anticipating,
the many blessings
God has waiting.

The sky, the sun, the rain, the Light.
Ever glowing, Golden ,Bright.
Honeyed cherries scent the breeze
as birds sing praises in the trees.

Love unfolding all around.
Heaven’s sprinkles dust the ground.
Breathe it in, and fill your heart.
Give thanks to God,
How Great Thou Art.

Pull on those jeans,
so faded blue.
Go dance a while in morning dew.
Smell the flowers, drift away.
Good Morning World
A brand new day.

There Is

There is Love.
There is Light.
Morning follows
every night.

There is Hope.
There is Joy.
Even Satan,
can’t destroy.

There is Peace
There is Rest
Weak made Strong
Poor so Blessed.

There is Faith,
to set apart.
Planted deep,
in Every Heart.

There is God
Watching All
and Jesus standing,
as we fall.

Hands to hold you
Arms Embrace.
Healing, Growing,
Saving Grace.

There is Living
every day
Assured our God
will make a way.

Moving mountains
Calming seas
Everything
of Worth
In He.

There is.

Pieces

For now we know in part,
but, one day I shall see,
all the pieces of my heart,
Jesus kept for me.

The pieces torn away,
by life with all it’s sorrows.
Waiting to be made anew,
in the Promise of Tomorrow.

For now we know in part.
Blind Faith to lead us Home.
The Light within the dark,
from Heavens Precious Throne.

and when I see The Holy One,
I know the tears will fall.
Indebted to my Savior,
who Loved me through it all.

Creator of the Heavens.
Father of Mankind.
The Rhyme and Reason for it all,
Wisdom waits to find.

For now we know in part,
but, one day I shall see,
all the pieces of my heart,
Restored Eternally.

Barefoot

You wouldn’t know,
to see her smile,
that she had walked
so many miles,
Barefoot.

You wouldn’t know,
Her feet so shod,
by walking barefoot
with her God,
How far.

Of that glow,
tis not of man,
but God who say’s
‘Go on , you can.’
keep walking.

Dance and sing,
despite it all.
Make lemonade
when lemons fall.
Share His Love,
and be a Voice.
A light
A flame,
A smile
Rejoice.

Shine, as one
you wouldn’t know,
unless her God
had loved her so,
Barefoot.

Wings To Fly

Oh Lord,
Sometimes it’s all so hard.
This Walk,
This Race,
Embrace me.

Lift me high,
Let me fly, in You.

The Reason for it all,
The Almighty and the small.
Dust to dust.
Earth to Earth.
From the moment of our birth,
Your Creation.

and I wonder sometimes why,
You allow the young to die,
but in the twinkling of an eye,
I will know.

Every question ever asked.
Why the trials of the past.
Such a walk, so ever thorned,
be it Grace and Love adorned.
Ever yearning for Your Face.
Often such an uphill race.
Hear my cry,
Draw me nigh,
and Embrace me.

Lifted High,
Wings to fly, in You.

Ballerina

Look at my hands
they used to be pretty,
and I,
I used to dance.

No ballet any more,
just often aching, sore.
Such is age, and honest work.
Never have been one to shirk,
my Role.

But Oh to dance would be so fine.
To live the music one more time.
Before it all
when dreams were mine,
and now?

Now I dance my journey Home.
Step by Step towards the Throne.
Where Jesus stands, and I will fall.
The Final Curtsey of them all.
Before my Lord,
my Love
my King,
and I
shall Dance
as Angels sing,
Anew.

Best Friend

Lord I could so use a best friend tonight.
One of those work days where nothing is right.
So many tugging, all I feel, all I see.
Exhausted and torn, could You just please hold me.

Lord, You have said, ‘All the way to the Cross.’
but I am just me, and some days feel so lost.
I don’t always know just the right thing to do,
so just for this night can I climb into You.

and Father You said, ‘all things work together,’
but I am so tired of such storm tossed weather.
If all in this world is just heartbreak and pain,
Lord teach me new steps, to dance on through the rain.

but just for tonight, can I rest in Your Arms.
Lay down all burdens, where none can do harm.
Melt in Your Presence, just let it all be.
Draw nigh to You, as You draw nigh to me.

Lord I so needed a best friend tonight.
One who could comfort Assure all is right.
One I could fall into, Rest and Renew.
All that I needed was All that’s In You.
